Yeah, they would make a great double feature, wouldn't they? The Green Slime and X From Outer Space had some cool lounge music, for sure!  Also, "X" had Peggy Neal, who also had a starring role alongside Sony Chiba in Terror Beneath The Sea when she was only 17.

As to the nightclub, that reminds me of The X From Outer Space. There was a nightclub in the space station in that one too. The people were making out and smoking and drinking, AND the girls were shown in the showers from the neck up. That was one raunchy movie.

I've never seen this, but would love to. Bummer it's not available on DVD.

I know!!! What's going on here? Even Gappa is on DVD; I know because I have it.

BTW, do you remember earelier last year, when they had those commercials for some financial company where they had the X-Monster in them?  They were short lived but funny.

And there was also a new Japanese film called "Guilala Attacks The G-8 Summit" if I recall right.  He may not be out of DVD yet, but it seems Guilala's been a busy monster lately

It would be nice if Shout Factory, or just about anyone, would step up and acquire the rights. But these are tough times economically.
