This question is for the British members of the board. I was thinking about the This is Spinal Tap earlier, and I found myself wondering what people from England think of the comedy in the film, and of the film in general. It's about a fictional British rock band, yet it's an American film, with all American principal actors, with perhaps a few Brits in the mix playing minor roles.

So, do Brits appreciate the film? Do they think the principal actors are suitably British?

I'm just curious. My wife was born in Belfast but raised in the States, so I don't know if that counts.

No replies? I could have sworn there are at least a few folks from the east end of the pond who are members, yes?

I'm sure the Brits will respond soon.  Keep the faith!

I'm pretty sure Circus likes it.  As an American I look at it as more of a parody on Heavy Metal at the time than anything.
