Seeing we have one for movies, I figured a thread on this topic would be good.  While watching an episode of the Sopranos the other day, I was on full fledged overload on the product placement.  Carmella is shopping in a supermarket and she passes a giant wall of Snackwells.  Later on, AJ is eating some Honey Combs cereal at the table.  Tony later is eating some ice cream, I think it was Turkey Hill.  That show was way over the top in this area of topic.

I could be wrong here...
I think in the first episode of Smallville, Clark opend the fridge and on the fridge door shelf is all Mountain Dew (no idea what that is but I'm guessing a lot you guys do) cans and the labels are facing the front so the camera gets a good look at them.

Neighbours is always going on about Guitar Hero.
Always.
Its like the only computer game they know of !

In the show Roswell everybody was always drinking Snapple.  It was funny because they did it in such an obvious manner.  They even had an episode called "Michael, the Guys, and the Great Snapple Caper", where one of the characters is working as a security guard but he gets everybody fired because they drink all the Snapple.

Psych is an interesting case.  It doesn't have overblown product placement, but it has its decent amount, but they often use it as jokes.  Shawn often goes off on weird rants about a product when he talks about a case, but its often funny.  One silly time, Gus tricked him into an oil spill clean up gig by distracting him with a Snickers bar.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force had an entire episode that doubled as a commercial for Boost Mobile. Every single episode of ATHF that I've ever seen has been great, by the way.

Going back to my original post about the Sopranos.  Seriously, I've watched five episodes since in season 4 On Demand and its getting to be like a game spotting these!

Diet Coke in Seinfeld comes to mind for some reason.

Just watched an old Disney special from the 1950s.  We forget how shameless they used to be with their sponsors (in this case, Coke).  About halfway through the special, the entire cast took a refreshment break to enjoy Coke.  The narrator called the beverage "a modern treasure."

There's also an entire episode of Seinfeld involving Junoir Mints. It's pretty funny though.

Was watching an episode of "Bones" the other night and two characters are driving in a Sienna.  During the conversation the Sienna came up and the driver started talking about how much she loved her Sienna.  You know, I have now used the word "Sienna" four times in this post.  I better go demand payment from Toyota :)
