My wife and I have had some real stupid arguments. One time she fought with me in a mall because I said something looked good on her when she tried it on in the store.
Experience should tell you that a man will
never win a fashion argument with a woman. Been married 14 years and that's one constant that ain't goin' nowhere!
Anyhow, MY run-in with dumbasses? A 20 year old female co-worker when I was at Lowes.
This 20 year-old know-it-all was trying to tell me that the Ramones weren't influenced by English punk, but that they
were English. Ooooo-k.... When I tried to tell her they were American, and from New York, and influenced by English punk, (as well as the most influential American punk band) she was like 'NO..dude, you're wrong on all of it, they ARE English."
Then I got called a racist because I said that their singing imitates the British accent (which they did, somewhat, to be fair) and I got accused of being a Brit-hater, which I am
NOT. Later, when one of her friends backed me up, she became furious and told her friend AND me where to go, and accused us of knowing everything. She stormed off the job!
She was fired a week later for a week-long run of instigation with customers, denying her shabby work, and overwatering the flowers in the Garden Dept. She was a real trip.
