Last January after watching the incredibly cheesy Hercules (1983) I was looking up Hercules videos with Lou Ferrigno on youtube. That was when I first noticed 44 Inch Chest in 'featured videos,' and it has been sort of following me ever since.

The 44 Inch Chest trailer would pop up in my youtube recommendations ever so often for the longest time. Around May/June I was assaulted by 44 Inch Chest looking up releases on amazon.com, and in September, out of the blue, a friend sends me the 44 Inch Chest Trailer on youtube to watch. Turns out he was doing so by mistake because of an actor's involvement from 44 Inch Chest in another movie called "The Devil's Tomb," which he originally intended to send me.

Just now I was scanning price reduced Blu-ray releases on amazon.de and yeah, 44 Inch Chest was right there on top  Lookingup

Without sounding too paranoid but did you ever had something like this happen? Maybe it was a song, or the media presence of a certain actor or whatever.

I get all sots of bizarre recommendations on Youtube.  I may watch 100 videos in one subject area, but two-thirds of my recommendations are based on something I watched once a year ago.  And god forbid my kids use my computer or despite all the hundreds of videos I've watched over the years, all my recommendations will be based on the 3 they watched.

I guess I don't have any particular movies that haunt me, just repeated recommendations for stuff I rally dislike because I actually do like other stuff in that genre, just not the mega-popular movie or video game which they think everyone should be interested in.

My experience is a lot more along these lines.

hi
There is a programme that is called ask&record. This programme attaches to the ask toolbar, what this programme does is record all vidoeo,s  and can record audio that is shown on the PC.I had a friend who is not to clever with the old PC who had this on his PC,not realising that it records all video, audio he allowed his wife to access this programme one day because his PC was running slow and he assumed this was the reason, imagine his shock when his wife viewed over 50 hardcore porn video's that he had been watching whilst she was asleep in bed(oops) needless to say that whenever he went on his PC after this Little episode he would be bombarded with porn adverts and all sorts of porn related material... He had some real sucking up to do ...
