Ok, i've been looking for this movie now little over decade, perhaps someone could help?!? :)
I was something like 5-7 years old when i saw this (and i only got a glimpse because my mom would not let me see this).
Its 70's/80's (maby 90's??) splatter/horror.
It was in color.

There is only few things i remember from it.
There is some sort of trapdoor with slip n slide that takes one of the leading man/woman to this space between walls. The Space is filled with human skulls and bones.
And there's this little hole on the wall through witch the man/woman sees an old man (kinda same looking as the Grandpa Sawyer in TCM2)  sitting on a bed. This old man suddenly starts to peel of his face (like some crappy mask), revealing only his partial skull.
First he takes his nose and puts it on the table next to him etc.
The man is disturbed, and leaves the room. The man/woman trapped inside the wall starts to brake the wall to escape.

I have tried to watch every horror/splatter/exploitation flick i have got in my hands but with no luck.....
If someone got any advice what movie this could be PLEEEASE let me know!!!
It's kinda like my personal Hunt for the Holy Grail! :D

Now that's one I've never seen, and sounds a bit freaky to boot.

There were a number of "living inside the walls" films that took place in the 70's and 80's, among them Bad Ronald,  Silent Scream with Barbara Steele, and Crawlspace with Klaus Kinski, to name a few.   None of these sound like the one, but I thought I'd mention this nonetheless.

It does sound a little like the People Under the Stairs.

screasel I think your hunt for your holy grail movie is over because I believe the movie you are referring too is the 1991 film Nothing But Trouble starring Chevy Chase,Demi Moore(as the man/woman)John Candy who played both a man and a woman and of course Dan Ackroyd who played the old man(who resembled the TCM grandpa).I remember the scene you describe very well because I just saw it last week after 15 years. If you have Comcast Cable, they are currently playing the movie on Demand right now.
