And then there's the classic 60's era Twilight Zone episode, where a farmer has to choose at a  crossroads. One road he can take his dog, the other he can't. He stays on the road where he can take his dog, and finds he went to Heaven. And the gatekeeper asked him how he knew what road to take, and the farmer mentioned his faithful and loyal dog and how he would never leave him.

Probably more as I think of them.

Yep, that one got to me too.  "Big Tall Wish" and the episode where Art Carney gets the Santa Suit were a couple other TZs that made me tear up.

There were a few episodes of The Wire that got me pretty wrecked, especially in Season 4;(don't know if anyone else here watched that show but if you did, you probably know exactly which eps. I'm talking about.)

One episode of the classic Twilight Zone made me cry harder than others.

It was about unconditional love, and the fact that all good things come to an end:

The episode was about a widower hired a robotic nanny to help care for his 3 children. And they developed a wonderful, loving relationship until the day she had to leave when the kids reached adulthood.  It was time for her to be dismantled and reassembled into something else.

Before she left, she told all of the kids that she would never forget them (no matter what other form she took after being dismantled) and that just broke the dam, I cried like you wouldn't believe.

There again, the one time the episode showed, (about 3 days after the death  of my maternal grandmother back in 2001) didn't help. And it still hurts to watch today.

CRIMINAL MINDS. It's hard for me to watch that show at times. I dunno....I can watch the goriest junk-people getting whacked left and right-but when Hotch's wife was killed...uh....my lip started trembling....I had a big lump in my throat. Dang. It really got me worked up.

I got all blurry eyed just watching that clip. Bluesad
