VGA Adventure Games - I think text and EGA were in the 80's but the nice cleaned up point and click.

All nice and cleaned up.  No typing, we live in the now mouse: point/click.

I think someone may have touched on Sam and Max earlier

The humor is of course missed at times and the simplicity is something I would like to see more of now.  I liked kind of feeling the part of a novel you interact with through basic commands.

Every other day I would have to eat a The Boss hamburger at hardees. If I remember correctly, The Boss was similar to The Big Mac/Whopper they even had a special tasty sauce. Wish I had one right now  Bluesad

Earthworm Jim was popular enough to have a video game line, action figures and a cartoon.

Despite how cheesy the trailers looked, the films were good.
