I'm a 90's child and proud of it!

Anybody else still own the original SNES?

First time you got to see actual blood in a video game. You had 7 characters and had a blast.

Upgrade from the ol'SNES but the SNES will always be in my heart

Greatest multiplayer game ever

Things forgotten that came from the 90's:

...So what's this thing you call a video store you had back in your day?

Yeah, I still have an SNES.  I remember playing many games on it.  Had a Genesis at the time too but played SNES much more.  I liked certain games from the library much more.

I remember Mortal Kombat though played Genesis more.  Think it was said to resemble the arcade game much closer but can't remember exactly.

Goldeneye was fun. :) I remember playing a friend all the time.  Proximity mines.  Though, they liked Oddjob.  That small bastard was never fun to run into while trying to shoot everyone else.

Wasn't MK on genesis more uncut? Cause SNES were more "family friendly"

I totally missed this when I was younger, but thanks to the internet I have been able to keep up.

Is it just me or does Nickelodeon totally suck now?

Take twilight zone and turn it into a kids show and you would Are You Afraid Of The Dark

A sketch show for kids...ya it happened!

This show was out there that I loved it.

Shooting electricity through her fingertips & can turn into a silver puddle at anytime, what kid wouldn't love that.

It's so amazing that as soon the 2000's started it was like someone flipped on a suck switch for the entire globe.

I'm thinking that was it.  I remember the Genesis being more unafraid to show violence and other themes.  However, despite that many Genesis games while playable were not stand out games.  I think that is what killed the Genesis game wise.  I remember SNES RPGs and such.  Those seemed to engage you more and keep you going more in my opinion.

Also, who can forget

When D&D wasn't enough and you needed to seem more nerdy.  Oh, how I wanted a Black Lotus.

Sliders such a fun show that would always take you to a different world every week.

I loved the theme to the show.. it's called "Roundball Rock" by John Tesh.
