I remember when Lara Croft first arrived on the scene.
It was big news.

The best experience for a 15 year old video game nerd.   :teddyr:

Did anyone mention Friends?  I can't remember.  Also, the emergence of the double mocha late and the whole outlandish coffee craze here in the states.  Also, tech stocks.
Ah, the good old days.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Ah 90s infomercials. It was actually entertaining to watch guys light car hoods on fire and make juice out of everything that grows.

Man, did I hate these guys.. Aikman, Smith, Irvin, etc. kicked my team's butt twice in the SB.

Heck, I was an Eagles fan living in Dallas for the early 90s... you can imagine...

Did get Emmit Smith on my fantasy team one year, that eased the sting...

I always liked the Ronco knives.  I was too young for the old ginsu commercials and had to settle for Ron Popeil.

Also, on sports

So close always losing to Dallas and in Baseball

I'm was born a Braves fan.  Even when they did bad, poor Dale Murphy.

Finally, had to give Georgia credit for their international attention in '96.  Though the games were not the best that I can remember.
Ah, the good old days.

Gotta echo the sentiment about the '96 Olympics in Atlanta.  I was there and attended Judo, Weighlifting, Track & Field (or maybe it was the Triathlon?) and Baseball.  Absolutely loved Weightlifting the most.  I cheered for everybody participating.
