I'm a huge dork for monster/possessed/killer cars or machines. And the not-so mean ones but Herbie was never a good horror film...

I've seen quite a few and was wondering if there were more out there and I don't mind if its just a short scene.

I've seen/know of;
Christine, Maximum Overdrive/Trucks, Black Cadilac, I bought a Vampire Motorcycle, Mangler,

I also know of the new movie, Hybrid, *hopefully* coming out.

This one is pretty good. I love the scene where the school children run into a cemetary to avoid being killed by the car and the teacher is talking s**t on it because it can't enter sacred ground.

I quite enjoyed Crash! (1977) but sadly it's not available on DVD: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075887/
Then there is the classic The Car (1977): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075809/

Underrated gem: Pulse (1988) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095924/

Not really possessed per se but definitely takes on a life of its own does the truck from Duel (1971).

I saw this movie not to long ago.  Very weird and fun.  I liked how there is the big show down at the end and what a let/show down it was.

I would recommend it.

There is a movie where a guy kidnaps kids.  He drives a '73 (???) Charger.  Not possesed but very creepy.

How about Murdercycle?

Later,

John
