I found this documentary to be extremely down to earth and enjoyable.  I do have a question though, has anyone ever been to any of these Troll 2 showings they feature?  I think at least one of us could have gone.

I agree.
My favorite part was when they're sitting in the car in front of Margo Prey's house wondering what's the worst that could happen if they went up and knocked.  And George says, "A bullet comes flying through the door!"

You know that Andrew and I interviewed George Hardy a few years back, right?

I've been to several actually, and they're a blast.  Last year, we were lucky enough to go to a double feature of Troll2 and Best Worst Movie.  George Hardy made an appearance - he was exactly the way he is in BWM (a great movie by the way).  I'm pretty sure that I've seen Troll 2 at least 30 times...

I was actually amused at the director.  I don't think he got why people lile the film

This is a great movie-the documentary that is, not Troll 2.  When I went to see it at a small local cinema, we got to have a Skype call with George Hardy.  What a great guy.  He answered all kinds of questions, and even did the movie's most famous line for us "You can't p**s on hospitality!  I won't allow it!"

I also found the director hilarious.  Somehow he still actually thinks he made a good movie.  Now that's dedication to your art.

To me, that was one of the aspects of the movie that I found most fascinating.  I mean, George Hardy was great (and an unbelievably nice person), but watching Claudio Fragasso's reaction to audiences' reactions really added another great dimension to the movie.  I really can't recommend Best Worst Movie enough - I loved it!

I had no idea there was a documentary about such a bad movie. I'm intrigued.
