These were the first two I bought when the music CD format first came out:

I watched lots of this:
Small | Large

Didn't watch a lot of this, but it was a popular show/comeback:
Small | Large

God, these were stupid (but popular): Wacky Wall Walkers!

Thank God for Cherry Coke, which I still drink to this day!

Thanks to her Oscar-winning performance in ON GOLDEN POND Katharine Hepburn became a pop star all over again.

Which naturally resulted in stuff like this:

Small | Large

FUN FACT: The original ending had Hepburn and Nolte committing suicide together by walking arm in arm into the ocean. The preview audiences howled, so now there's a wacky car chase ending instead.

I'm officially starting the rumor right now that Hepburn and Nolte hooked up during production and had a secret love child.

The fabulous TI-99!

Weird cartoon (though that was exactly the point):
Small | Large

And who didn't find this crap popping up everywhere?

The '80s went out with a bang with these games:
Strider

Final Fight

And of course, Capcom got their start with these games:

and Commando!
