First things first, Bill Murray is one of my all time favorite actors. He can do very little wrong in my book. BUT the ending credits for Scrooged make me cringe. Don't get me wrong I LOVE that film. It's just when he is talking to the camera and the rest of the cast are singing that dreadful song, it sends shivers. I remember seeing it at the cinema with my parents as a child and getting very angry cause they were joining in. In fact I cant think of a example of when an actor talks to the camera at the end credits has ever been good. (especially Spice World). If you can, I'm all ears.
Funny how things can seem very different to different people.
I love that sequence. The end of
Scrooged is one of the very few movie sequences that actually warm the cockles of my cold, cold heart. It's the only movie I go out of my way to watch during the Christmas season, precisely because of that part you don't like.
If you hate it, you hate it, which is cool. For me, one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite movies.
