We all have different definitions of "Nostalgia" for me nostalgia refers to my childhood in the late 90's when the internet made a characteristic "phone dialing" sound and you had to pay per hour for it, oral sex at the whitehouse was hiliarious, ".com" stocks were hot, and "virtual reality"/"internet" was a technology to be feared as it broke down the difference between reality and the artificial.

There were several technophobia movies from this time such as "Brainscan", "Lawnmower man", and others so what was your favorite?

By far my favorite has to be "The Net" 1995 with Sandy Bullock.

I'm a big fan of 90s sci fi films like Virtuosity and Strange Days, both 90s brilliance.

Strange Days is a great movie, but suffers badly from placing itself in the year 1999.  As a 'near future' sci fi film it's great, but boy does that aspect really age badly 12 years on from when all this stuff was supposed to happen.

For those who don't know its about people recording their what they see [essentially making viewable memories] and there being a black market for people who do illicit things like Snuff films etc.  Its a great movie in itself but boy is it 90s.

I know its not quite the same thing, but it's still hilarious.

The Cell. Probably J-Lo's finest film.

Hackers (1995). Can't say I really liked it, but it fits in with the topic.
