yesterday was my birthday and I had just turned 40  Drink  Yup, the big 4-0.  They say life begins at 40.  I don't know about that.   They also say 40 is the new 20.  Next thing you know, they'll be saying 50 is the new 25.
So what birthday gifts did I get yesterday?  Mostly blu-rays, PC DVD games and a few games for my PS3.  I also got a new Sony Vaio laptop from my good friend Chuck.  My friend Larry gave me a few items for my SUV including blue headights, neon strips and spinner rims.  But the best birthday present I was was from my wife.  You know what that was?  Herself and her best friend Vanessa.  You can probly guess why.
Now I bet you're all wondering what blu-rays I got.  Well I got almost 40 new ones.  They are mostly movies I haven't seen yet and look forward to nitpicking and scrutinizing their reality flaws.  A few of them are movies that I treasure including Zardoz, Rosemary's Baby, Xanadu, Hokuto No Ken 2, and King Kong vs Godzilla.
Hey, there's some birthday cake left.  Its a Pina Colada cake.  Who wants a slice?

And here's a really big slice of pina colada cake and while we're at it, how about I mix a few for you?

I suspect the only 3 some he had was with Lefty and Harry Palmer.

Oo baby.

Y'know I almost came to your defense Wyrewhatsit in another thread of yours, even Hannibal Lector can't abide bad manners, but, you truly enjoy flagellating yourself.  You da man.   Thumbdown TeddyR

It didn't.  What my friend Jim did was he bought the movie on DVD but he knew I didn't have a DVD player (I gave that up in favor of the Blu-Ray player.)  So being the professional video editor he was, he decided to use his equipment.  He used his Blu-ray writer drive and put the DVD in the DVD drive.  He had the blu-ray drive copy off the DVD drive.  Then he used labeling software for the new Blu-ray disc.  He threw away the DVD and put the Blu-ray disc in the DVD case,
