Please read the  article and listen to the radio recording    This is real shame, this guy is basically had his life put on hold because of this.

This is the kinda crap the paranoid commies used to pull, blackmailing people to rat out their friends and families.  This sounds like a really good guy that posted something on a forum and now his life gets turned upside down.

Yeah, that sucks, and this s**t really gets under my skin. I served six years in the Navy, honorably discharged, and soon afterwards I inexplicably ended up on the no-fly list myself. No reason given, but every time I tried to fly I was delayed an additional 20-30 minutes while they made a few calls. They would come back and say "you are free to fly today, sir." WTF? Gee, thanks a bunch, Gestapo.

I went to the Homeland Security website, found an email point of contact, and wrote a detailed email about it, asked why I was on the no-fly list (I have a right to know), said I served six years service to this country and would like to be removed. Nobody ever responded, yet mysteriously from that point forward I never had the problem again. It still bothers me that nobody got back to me.
