This was back in the day (90s) when i would sometimes wake up to Movies Til Dawn on KTLA 5. I saw the end of this movie which looked about late 80s... maybe earlier.

The last three or so minutes was this girl running down hallways and corridors being chased by this guy (who I think may have been laughing, but I was real young when I saw this, so who knows?). Last thing I remember is her running out this one glass corridor, and she gets out into the parking lot with the guy behind her, and her mom is waiting for her and shoots the guy dead. Mom and daughter (at least I THINK they were related) get into a car (could have been red? Unless I'm mixing that with corvette summer) and drive off. It felt kind of like the building was sort of in the middle of nowhere. It was some kind of generic multi-story office building. That's all I recollect.

Another movie was one I saw in 6th grade. It was in the future inside this concrete building, kind of a school/orphanage/refuge where a teacher/mentor/guardian and a bunch of kids screened themselves with artificial sunlight, because I think no one had seen the sun in like forever and I believe it always rained. One girl is a bit of a dreamer and oddball who's seemingly one wish in life was to witness the sun. The kids mess with her one day and lock her in this closet. At that moment, the sun breaks through for the first time, and all the kids go outside and play in the sun for what may be the first time in their lives. Eventually, the girl escapes the closet and makes it outside, only to have barely missed the sun since it had disappeared behind the perpetual rainclouds, and she starts crying. Points to note were these two conical holes in the wall where you could see kids faces peering outside as sentries.

Any takers?

Okay, I found out the title of the second item after some googling, and found out the title is "All Summer In A Day" based on a Ray Bradbury short story.

I still have no clue about the first movie I described, though.

I remember reading this story in school as a kid and finding it to be horribly depressing.

I am equally stumped by the first movie.  For some reason Ghost in the Machine popped into my head, but I have no idea why.  Haven't seen it in 10+ years and I don't really remember anything about it....

I remember ghost in the machine, but that's not it.

On another forum, someone suggested Lipstick... though it almost looks similar, maybe the era, it wasn't what I remembered. I remember a young girl being chased down a round corridor made of windows by some laughing guy (like I said, I think he was laughing) in a suit and kind of long hair (like above the shoulder). I also remember the parking lot being empty. I think the girl was wearing blue. Maybe a braid, but I just remember her being blonde and being rescued.
