I honestly wonder if someone like glenn beck will attack the movie "thor" for being an attack on Christianity? Really, given the attacks I've seen on some movies by people who are obviously fanatical whackos, like the iranian attack on the movie "300" for being anti-iranian, the ann coulter/bill o'reilley attack on "superman returns" for promoting sexual promiscuity and making superman gay and the utterly insane anti smokers attack on "Avatar" because a good character smoked, I occasionally find myself wondering what some nutcase will attack a movie for next.

I could see glenn beck attacking Thor for promoting the worship of a pagan god, thereby attacking christian values or maybe even dusting off his swastika and claiming that Thor is a pro-nazi film because thor is often invoked by nazis in various ways since he was a norse/aryan god.

A lot of people on the far left and the far right take movies way too seriously, and whenever I see an ad for Thor I wonder if someone on the right or left is going to attack it for the norse imagery thor is associated with.

I actually kind of hope it happens as, really, it would be funny to laugh at whoever does it.

As for me, I'm waiting for the green lantern movie just to hear sarah palin attack it for pushing the radical environmentalist agenda because it has the word "green" in the title. BounceGiggle

Well Thor already had a minor controversy when they cast a black man to play a Norse god.  OH the HORROR!

I still find it amusing but frustrating that it was actually an issue.  Lame.

In any case I hope the movie is good!
