Staple on TBS during their halloween and creature fest kind of things.  Was similar to a documentary in style.  Not sure of all the stories on it, relative was asking about recently and can't place it.  Anyway, story they were talking about is a farmer in Missouri (??), there was a deep strange hole on his land, going in it or looking in it caused people to go crazy.  Not sure of much more and am having trouble finding as I can't find anything about a hole in Missouri that might be similar.  It may be based on some urban legend of the area but I have no idea.  Can anyone help?

Well the only thing I can think of is 1973's ENCOUNTER WITH THE UNKNOWN a 3 story anthology by Rod Serling himself. In the middle story there is a farmer who discovers a hole in his back yard and is lowered into the hole by a group of men and screams a few mins later in pure terror when he is lifted back up to the surface.

It sounds like it but I will have to confirm with the relative that was asking about it before I can say for sure.

No problem.I recently saw it on You Tube myself so that is the main reason why I knew what you were talking about.
