Weird but entertaining 90's movie.

It's about a boy who is sent to the store to buy some tomatoes, he stumbles apon this factory where kids are held captive to work in the factory. If children don't do what they're told they're turned into these balls of goo. He plans to escape but there's this one guy who tries to stop him. The boy name was Timmy or Tommy Jimmy or something like that. I seen this movie on HBO like 10-11 years ago. I'd like to see it again. Johnny Tomatoes? something to that effect.

Sorry for the double post but, if this helps. The Kids were shoveling some type of grey hay into a furnace. They'd sing a song like this, Allll Work.... noooooo Play.. Alllll Work... Nooooo Play. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out.
