I think Ellen Page deserves a nod. She's quite talented considering her age, and she was excellent the films I've seen her in (namely Juno and Hard Candy). One thing I've noticed though is that they don't show her episodes of when she was in Trailer Park Boys anymore. Weird.  Question
Thora Birch gets a nod for her treats alone, not her acting skills, especially in American Beauty.  Wink Also agree with Christina Ricci, she's quite good when doing more b-type films. Another one that's easy on the eyes.  Smile

Myrna Loy needs to be in here somewhere.  And Grace Kelly.

Surprised nobody has said Kate Winslet yet.

If we're including acting ability and not just going with eye candy, Kate Winslet is probably my favorite modern actress with Jennifer Connelly a close second.  Natalie Portman, Judi Dench, Helen Mirren, and Uma are other favorites.

My favorite classic actress has to by Myrna Loy.  Grace Kelly would probably be 2nd.
