Die Hard - 10/10
Die Hard 2 - 6/10
Die Hard 3 - 8/10
Die Hard 4.0 - 7.0/10

The original is smart, with well written characters, a great location, snappy dialog, claustrophobic tone and some kick ass action.

Die Hard 2 felt like a rehash of the first and I felt it suffered from pacing issues, but the action was top notch and the direction was solid.

Die Hard 3 was the sequel we've been waiting for. It has lots of funny one-liners, an imaginative story, great stunt work and sharp direction. The last act was a bit disappointing though.

Full marks awarded to the awesome action sequences, but McLean was poorly written with a some what tried performance by Willies. The story is lacking in depth but it moves at a quick pace. The PG-13 is also disappointing, but otherwise I really liked it.

Die Hard - 10/10

Die Hard 2 - 8/10

Die Hard With A Vengeance - 6/10

Die Hard 4.0 - 2/10

Die Hard is a class act, one of the greatest action films that has, or ever will be made. I could watch that movie over and over and never get sick of it. I really enjoyed Die Hard 2, but it wasn't as good as the first. They just basically took the plot of the first film and set it in an airport. I didn't dig Die Hard III that much, probably with the fact I can't stand Samuel L. Jackson or Jeremy Irons. As for Die Hard 4, well I held off from it because it look awful on the trailers - Justin Long and CGI action sequences. I did finally get round to it and I hated it, it was like watching an episode of The OC where they pretend they're in the Matrix.

Die Hard - 10/10.  Just a fantastic action movie.

Die Hard 2 - 8/10.  Another really good movie, just not quite as good as the first.

Die Hard with a Vengeance - 4/10.  The whole plot was like "Yeah, Hollywood called and they'd like us to blow a bunch of stuff up so they can make a movie out of it."   Lookingup  Samuel L. Jackson was annoying in that one as well.

Die Hard 4 - I didn't even know there was a Die Hard 4.

I didn't care for any of them except the original. The original kind of set the bar for action films for the next two decades.

I think Die Harder is better than the original. I'm not sure I can remember seeing 3... must have done, but I don't remember it. I have seen 4 and it wasn't Crystal Skull or Phantom Menace bad.
