So Code Red FINALLY released this little gem after years of promisies, on April 19th, I belive. So I went eBay hunting and found that there was only one store on the entire damn site that carried it and they were all sold out, and there was no relisting of the item. So I went to cduniverse and purchased a copy, only to find that it is on backorder, which means it's possible that I may never get my hands on it. f**k!!! So did anybody around here get a copy, and if so, where did you get it from?  Hatred

Not saying anything new but if you didn't pre-order than you are pretty much out of luck for the moment.
Code Red 'only' pressed 1,000 copies (which appears to be standard) so there shall be copies available again soonish, hopefully.
Folks at my other forum all received their pre-ordered Rituals disc from places like DVD Pacific or blowitouttahere.com

This is one of those movies that I hate, but many other people seem to like.  I have it in a Mill Creek 50 Movie Pack, but I'm sure Code Red's version is superior (and perhaps has a longer running time).

Wow. What did you hate about it, Burgo?

I've seen it about 3 times (originally on VHS back in the early 1980s . . . more recently in the Mill Creek pack).  I just find it to be sort of dull.  Nothing really memorable about it.

Yeah, extremely dull.  Just another hillbilly slasher movie.

Man, I can't believe some of you don't like this movie! Sure, it's not a fast paced wham bam slasher but that's what I like about it. I think it's got a nice atmospheric quality to it, the characters are quite believable, and granted, it is a bit of a rip on movies like Deliverance, but I really think it's pretty original considering the year it came out.

Maybe I'll give it one more try.  But I'm still not expecting I'll like it.

axelmusic.com has Rituals in stock again. Didn't check other places though.
