I think all the films in the bottom half of the list are better than ones in the top. Unforgiven is the best film there by a country mile.

Unforgiven is very good, but hey, a western movie making the Top 20 in any year is still pretty good.

Neat to see Aladdin up there that high.

01. $217,350,219 - Aladdin (I've never been a big fan of this one, but I'd never call it bad)
02. $173,585,516 - Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (hated it)
03. $162,831,698 - Batman Returns (myeh)
04. $144,731,527 - Lethal Weapon 3 (I only really liked the first two)
05. $141,340,178 - A Few Good Men (classic)
06. $139,605,150 - Sister Act (oh, please)
07. $121,945,720 - The Bodyguard (oh, please)
08. $121,697,323 - Wayne's World (I liked it)
09. $117,727,224 - Basic Instinct (the grandfather of a few hundred equally bad erotic thrillers, gotta give it props for that)
10. $107,533,928 - A League of Their Own (say what you will, I like this film)

11. $101,157,447 - Unforgiven (Amazing)
12. $088,036,683 - The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (a good bad thriller)
13. $083,563,139 - Under Siege (never got into it, but more power to you if you did)
14. $083,351,587 - Patriot Games (so-so, I think Tom Clancy is over-rated)
15. $082,522,790 - Bram Stoker's Dracula (pretty bad movie, but it has some moments)
16. $076,253,806 - White Men Can't Jump (I thought it was okay at the time and over time have grown to hate this movie with a passion)
17. $075,505,856 - The Last of the Mohicans (middle of the road)
18. $070,052,444 - Boomerang (had no interest then or since, I've seen bits and pieces)
19. $063,095,253 - Scent of a Woman (never got too into it, but I wouldn't call it a bad movie)
20. $062,548,947 - The Crying Game (started great, started going downhill, and then....)

Ah yes, 92 the first year of high school.  I remember Waynes World being all over the damn place near summer vacation.  Everyone and their brother was listening to Bohemian Rhapsody because of it.

I remember seeing Batman Returns in the theater and hating it the first time.  However, after seeing it several more times I started to like it more.

DOMESTIC GROSSES #1Ė20

01. $217,350,219 - Aladdin (Haven't seen)
02. $173,585,516 - Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (Dumb and kind of disappointing sequel but I still have to admit to enjoying it)
03. $162,831,698 - Batman Returns (Great movie, the best live action Batman film IMO)
04. $144,731,527 - Lethal Weapon 3  (half decent)
05. $141,340,178 - A Few Good Men (didn't care for this much at all)
06. $139,605,150 - Sister Act (half decent)
07. $121,945,720 - The Bodyguard (nothing special IMO)
08. $121,697,323 - Wayne's World (kind of fun)
09. $117,727,224 - Basic Instinct (has some good moments but overrated overall)
10. $107,533,928 - A League of Their Own (nothing special)

11. $101,157,447 - Unforgiven (Great film)
12. $088,036,683 - The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (Pretty solid little thriller)
13. $083,563,139 - Under Siege (kinda fun)

15. $082,522,790 - Bram Stoker's Dracula (half decent)
16. $076,253,806 - White Men Can't Jump (didn't really care for it)

01. $217,350,219 - Aladdin
Meh.

02. $173,585,516 - Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
Same as the first one.

03. $162,831,698 - Batman Returns
Whoa, 1992?  I thought it came out 1990.  I ... didn't like it much.

04. $144,731,527 - Lethal Weapon 3
The magic was already gone after part 2.

05. $141,340,178 - A Few Good Men
I think I saw this but I can't remember anything about it.

06. $139,605,150 - Sister Act
Never saw.

07. $121,945,720 - The Bodyguard
Dull.

08. $121,697,323 - Wayne's World
I laughed once, I think.  The sequel was much better.

09. $117,727,224 - Basic Instinct
Never saw.

10. $107,533,928 - A League of Their Own
Never saw.

11. $101,157,447 - Unforgiven
One of the best of the gritty Westerns (not including the Spaghetti Westerns).

12. $088,036,683 - The Hand That Rocks the Cradle
Absurd, ridiculous, idiot picture.  I had a HUGE crush on Rebecca DeMornay, though.

13. $083,563,139 - Under Siege
I think this movie sucks.  Marked For Death is the only Segal movie anyone really needs to see.

14. $083,351,587 - Patriot Games
Sean Bean!

15. $082,522,790 - Bram Stoker's Dracula
Overblown, overproduced, overindulgent, etc, etc.  My friend Travis and I were like, "WTF is this?" all through it.

16. $076,253,806 - White Men Can't Jump
Never saw.

17. $075,505,856 - The Last of the Mohicans
Incredibly good movie that caught me completely by surprise.

18. $070,052,444 - Boomerang
Never saw.

19. $063,095,253 - Scent of a Woman
Pacino's speech at the end is good.

20. $062,548,947 - The Crying Game
Never saw.  Since I had the "shocking" twist spoiled practically as soon as it hit the theaters, what's the point?

Wayne's World is by far the best film to be branched off of a Saturday Night Live sketch.

Really?  Even better than The Blue Brothers?
