I give out karma like it's candy. I applaud people every chance I get. I smite spammers without second thoughts. How frequently do you give or take karma?

Things I agree with most often.  I'm not stingy but not as giving as I would like to be but I think I have been here less often lately and so haven't been doing much.

I use it more now than I did in the past.  But I try to use it only for very special or clever posts.  I don't want to use it so much that the meaning gets watered down.  I'm sure there have been many times in the past when I should have given karma, but didn't think of it at the time.

Off and on for me. I don't give it like candy, though. Most often I give out karma for stuff that makes me laugh. In second place would be anything to demonstrate a strong shared appreciation of something (a movie, a genre, a musical artist, etc.). In third place would be if I just strongly appreicate an opinion posted or considered a post particularly thoughtful.

On average it's about 2-3 times a week.

I applaud someone if he or she makes me laugh really hard or makes a good point.

I've never smitted anyone.  Cheers

I don't utilize it much in terms of applauding anyone as much as I likely should.  Sometimes I do, mostly if I agree with a person's sentiments in a post or if they post something I like (a youtube clip, song, album, etc.)  I don't think I've ever smited someone, but I do remember being smited once or twice.  It's something I should likely use more, but it depends on time I'm around.

I tend to not 'applaud' users who start threads about karma.

Sorry.

Me too.  If I laugh out loud or completely agree with a post like it was something I would have said I'll send some karma.  Also, when Xmas rolls around I sometimes get really generous.

I rarely applaud a person, but I do so every once in a while when a post catches my eye. Usually if a post makes me laugh out loud I applaud the person.

I have never given anybody negative karma.

I will admit I like seeing people give me positive karma.

I'm not asking for Karma hand-outs, Ulthar. It's an honest question.

I try to give out at least one karma point each time I visit the board.  I like receiving, so I figure the best way to get is to give . . .  and to be my charming, hilarious, and surprisingly handsome self. TeddyR

I rarely use it. I probably should more honestly. Mostly I give it to users whose posts have me laughing out loud, sometimes also though for a shared taste/interest in music, movies, TV, whathaveyou...
