I find as I go along, I'm losing patience a lot. Not necessarily with my kids which I have to admit I've improved on dramatically.  I lose my patience very quickly today with everyone else.  Speaking mostly of people around me who are slower to learn than I am.  That and people I constantly have to repeat myself to about how to do things.

In my younger years I'd always be happy to show people how to do things.  If I had to reshow them no biggy.  Nowadays I find myself having little tolerance towards the glib.  There are people who tower over me in senority that honestly have no clue.  I have to hold their hand while they make a much bigger paycheck than me at their workplace.  Its this factor that has chipped away at me more and more.  I'm one step away from option #4.

I have some patience issues sometimes, but I've actually improved it over time.

If someone is honestly trying their best, then I'm not only patient, but encouraging and easy going as well.  But if they're not trying their best, that's one of those things that triggers an immediate sarcasm response from me.

I have very little patience.  Things that really set me off are:

* Children who can't sit still in restaurants, airports, and similar places and whose parents seem to be oblivious to the fact their kids are running around, making noise, and aggravating people.

* Sitting in traffic.  Makes my blood boil.

* People who drive way below the speed limit and refuse to get out of my way.

* People who hold up a check-out line in a store while they fumble through their pockets or purse trying to find exact change or waste time asking a bunch of stupid questions while all the other customers have to stand there and wait.

* People who talk on cell phones and won't get the hell out of my way (this usually happens while driving or when I'm in the supermarket and there's some fat ass on the phone blocking the aisle).

These are just a few examples.  But I have little patience for anyone who slows me down or aggravates me when I'm trying to relax.

Zero patience at all.

Which is why I'm practically a shut-in except when I have to work.

I'm very patient with people I'm working with.  When people do stupid things that are the cause of a) being incredibly lazy or b) they've been told a million times to do it differently, then I get a little p*ssed.  I get very impatient with myself at times.

Aas I get older, I find myself becoming increasingly impatient and cranky.  Not a trait I like in myself.

In work I find myself becoming increasingly irritable with certain people.  If a person doesn't know how to at least attach something to an email I really feel they should be fired on the spot.
