Hi All

My first post so bear with me.

So I dont remember anything usefull about this movie like the cast or crew or name.

I saw it three times in theaters in the 1980's and the storey is pretty basic:

Civil War era setting, cavalry is in a small village and there are murders happening so the cavalry investigates and by the end of the film you find out its some of the cavalry killing people as food for their vampiric nature.

That's it.

Does anyone out there have a clue for me?  4Chan failed and i cant find it in netflix or imdb.

Help me badmovies.org, you're my only hope!
thank you

There's a movie called Eyes of Fire that very loosely fits your description.  It's a small village beset by what appear to be hostile nature spirits.  At the end, the village children escape and end up being "rescued" by Union soldiers, who turn out to be just more nature spirits in disguise.

Ravenous maybe?  It's from 1999 though.

It would probably be the best fit except year in more ways then one.  I would recommend it even if it isn't.  I love Ravenous.

This is probably way off being right but the title that came to mind was The Supernaturals (1986).

Could it be Grey Knight?  I saw the film years ago under the title of Ghost Brigade and it is very similar.

After going over it with my better half it wasnt 80s, it was actually Ravenous.
I didnt remember the supernatural indian aspect of the movie and totally separated it out into another film.
