 I remember when i was little I picked out this movie from block buster about giant robots. It looks like it could have been made in the 70's or 80's. I just remember people would pilot these giant mech robot which some looked ridiculous. One giant robot I think had a head which looked like a lizard of some sort. If i can remember right a lot of it seemed to be in a jungle type setting, and no im not talking about robot jox. Thanks a bunch

If it is not "Robot Wars" then "Robo Warriors" (1997) is a very good candidate.
