They just hauled my 13-year old 60 inch (heavy, bulky) TV out of the house and are setting up my new stuff.  I'll be high-def, 3-D compatible shortly.  (And I'll probably still spend most of my time watching scratchy, 1.33:1 aspect ratio movies from Mill Creek 50-Movie Packs).

Nice!  That's a big change from what must have been an old rear projection box.

We had them here today, but for a repair on the flatscreen we bought just under 3 years ago.  The good thing was it is among the few items I have ever gotten an extended warranty on, and I guessed right in getting it.  The bad news is that they took the TV all the way apart and then unpacked the brand new panel (almost the entire TV).  The new panel was shattered.  We're going to try this again when they get another new panel shipped to them.

The first thing I did was channel surf and ended up watching a few innings of the Red Sox game on Fox.  First movie watched: TRON: LEGACY on 3-D blu-ray.  Then one episode of LEAVE IT TO BEAVER from the DVD boxed set.  Then I watched about 30m minutes of LOADED GUNS, an action comedy from the 1970s starring Ursula Andress and Woody Strode on DVD-R.  Then I got tired and went to bed.  After day 1, I'm very happy with my purchase.
