Hello everyone. When I was young I vaguely remember watching a movie with friends which had a scene of the actors watching a horror movie. It was rather brief but it consisted of two people sitting on a couch with a Mad Scientist in a lab coat talking to them. Then unleashing what looked like Leatherface wearing a black suit cutting through the ceiling with a chainsaw. I don't know movie this was in for starters. More importantly I just want to know if the movie they were watching in the film is real or something that was made to be in that film. I'm pretty much stumped, any ideas?

"This is just a dream....." Unfortunately no Angus Scrimm in this film. I really have no clues other then what I mentioned. The doctor/scientists is kind of challenging these people. Like wait to see what I can do, I have a maniac to unleash.

I don't know which movie either might be, but a possible avenue to check would be to do a search for a crossover of Wes Craven and Sam Raimi movies. The two directors have had a friendly feud going for some time, which I believe started with Raimi having a The Hills Have Eyes poster in The Evil Dead and Craven following up with a clip from The Evil Dead playing on the TV in his first Nightmare movie, and then continuing from there.

Doesn't something like this happen in Peter Jackson's Bad Taste?  I seem to remember a guy coming through the ceiling with a chainsaw and attacking someone.  It's been a LONG time since I've seen it though, so I could be way off...

I don't know what the movie is, but I for one am thinking of getting started on a script titled "Chainsaws and Mad Scientists." How could that NOT be a winner?

It would be awesome if it was this easy. Unfortunately it wasn't a chainsaw wielding Peter Jackson with a belt on his head telling us that Derek's don't run and that indeed is a Derek. I would infact myself pay good money to see that film. Thanks for the input everyone.

Agree...

I'm on page 64 on my script Dancing Swords and then I'm going to start my second book project "Neon Lights"... If you need some help on a few idea I could toss a few bones your way... :)
