I believe budgies are a kind of parakeet. Haven't owned one since I was a kid, but I vaguely remember reading that at the time.

But budgies are cute, and you can teach them to talk. They will, however, chew up your houseplants if they get the opportunity. And don't let them fly around near large mirrors or windows. Or land near any sensitive parts of your body they can get their beaks around.

Of course, since I've been watching a lot of educational shows for kids, I now think of the budgie as a therapod dinosaur, at least until the coolness of that idea wears off.

. . . the next millennium? The year 3000? Sorry WyreWizard, it is a common mistake, but the new millennium does not begin till the year 3001. The year 3000 is the last year of this millennium. As decades, centuries, and millenniums begin counting with the year 1.
