Just curious -- what's the highest rated movie on IMDB's top 250 that you've never seen?  (Link to the list: http://www.imdb.com/chart/top).
For me, it's #19, CITY OF GOD.  I'm sure its a great movie and I'd watch it if the opportunity came up, but I'm not going to seek it out.
(You may want to skip over the 2010 releases---I understand many/most of you haven't had the chance to see INCEPTION or TOY STORY 3 yet.  Besides, those movies are likely to sink further down the list as time goes on).
CITY OF GOD is powerful cinema.  Not for the lily-livered or weak-kneed, but worthwhile.

I don't go to new movies much.  I can't remember the last "new" movie I looked at.  I haven't seen those 2010 releases, though I'd definitely sit through both INCEPTION and TOY STORY 3.
Also Top 60 not seen:
31. MEMENTO (sounds cool)
47. SPIRITED AWAY (I've seen parts of this)
55. THE LIVES OF OTHERS
57. THE DEPARTED (I know, I know. I mean I KNOW.  And I love MARTIN SCORSESE's films.)

The list is long.  I may come back.

Good, Make sure to keep it that way.

#49 City Lights (1931)

A week ago it would have been North by Northwest and Vertigo, but I just watched both of those. Not a terrible list, but it's certainly skewed towards young male internet-users.

I haven't seen #113 and have no desire to.
The only superhero film I ever liked was the '89 Batman, and that was only because I love Jack Nicholson.

I've never seen "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," which currently ranks at #4. I dunno, why, I guess Westerns aren't really my thang.

I can't imagine anyone disliking The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, even if you don't like westerns. It's just that good.

Don't think of it as a Western, just think of it as an adventure story.  It's set during the Civil War and a lot of the trappings of a conventional Western are missing (there are no Indians or saloon scenes).  I think TGTB&TU may be the ultimate "guy" movie.

With opinions like that, you should post on the imdb!
