New entry ...though actually this one has been in the works for quite a while, I only just got around to finishing it yesterday.

A few months back I overdosed on a bunch of Italian gore movies by the infamous Lucio Fulci and this was the result:

Been a while since I posted anything new...

I've been listening to a bunch of Cinderella this week so I sez to myself "Hey Self, how 'bout you do a HubPage about the Cinderella Discography?" ...and poof, it is done.

Apparently Bradley "The Hangover" Cooper is in talks to portray long running paperback action hero Mack Bolan (aka "The Executioner") in a movie. I used to love that book series when I was in high school (and I still occasionally read one today) so I couldn't help myself, I wrote a quick fanboy blah-de-blah about it...

New one... my Mom recently uncovered a scrapbook from my junior-high days, full of clippings and pix from when I almost made it to the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. - seeing all that old stuff inspired this piece.

Two new entries in as many days! I must be inspired this week...or I'm just really bored. :D

Anywhoo, last night I was mostly unimpressed by SyFy's new zombie show "Z Nation" so I figured I'd post some thoughts on it...

This weekend I saw thrash metal legends Overkill in concert for the first time in 20 years!! Here's my totally nerdy in depth review of the show:

Nice review. Overkill are one of those bands who for some reason passed me by even when I was mainly into thrash - which probably sounds impossible, not sure how that happened, lol. I liked the few tracks I heard by them though. Heard some Municipal waste stuff before and it's good but pretty unoriginal like you said. I agree with you about eddie trunk as well, I find him irritating too!

^^ Thanx Zombie#1...  always nice to meet another Eddie Trunk hater! :D

Anywhoo, here's my first new one in a while: a long overdue new installment of my "Forgotten Hard Rock Albums" series, focusing on the Die Happy.

http://fatfreddyscat.hubpages.com/hub/Forgotten-Hard-Rock-Albums-The-DIE-HAPPY-Discography

Note: the "Die Happy" in this piece was a short lived Christian metal band from California, it's NOT the alternative rock band from Germany... though if Google Search sends some of their fans to my page by mistake, I won't mind the extra traffic. Haha

A new "Forgotten Hard Rock Albums" entry is up, featuring a long lost New York band whose album is due to be reissued in early 2015.

My kids loved this silly made-for-Lifetime-TV flick starring the sour-faced Internet feline. They told me I should review it on my HubPage, which sounded like a good idea to me, so I did:

After a month or so of geeking out on the gallery of playable, vintage video games at www.archive.org, I wrote a HubPage about my ten favorites (so far)...

New entry... I was in a retro mood this week so I dug into my bag of age-old cassettes for the first time in dog years...

So two British Metallica fanboys re-recorded their own version of the mostly hated "St. Anger" album, note-for-note, with better production...and it's actually pretty good!!

New one:
1983 was a weird year for James Bond fans. We had two (!) new 007 films in the same year - Roger Moore's Octopu$$y and Sean Connery's "unofficial" Never Say Never Again - the result of a legal battle that had gone on for nearly 25 years.
