I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this, I got a copy of it when a local video store closed and, besides people in my town, no one else has heard of this rocky parody.

Brian,
My friend knowing that I love bad movies let me borrow this the other night. I haven't been able to watch all of it yet. I've needed some serious therapy after watching the opening scenes with the gay boxer who really(I mean REALLY) likes to be pummeled and the strip club scene w/Ricky wearing a giant horse's head as he does his less than seductive dance in front of what appears to be a cavewoman. I like how all the signs(storefronts,marquees etc) where apparently made from posterboard and a magic marker.This movie supposedly came out in 1989 according to the box but it looks much older to me.

Also per the box:
Ricky 1 - It does to boxing what "Airplane" did to flying
