Heres the thing, I hate watching video on the internet. I don't meant movies or tv shows I mean when I click on a link about a news article or an informative article and I get a video I have to watch. Maybe I'm just old but I prefer to read to learn something not watch it. I can analyze and go over a written article much easier than a video which I have to rewind and wait for it to buffer and hopefully it won't time out, etc.
So often when I get a video instead of something written I just exit the page and look for something else. I suppose its kinda odd but I was just wondering is anyone else does this.

For news on the internet, I prefer to read the story.  It usually has more information.  I'll only watch the video if there's something I actually want to see.  And considering how everybody's got freakin' commercials before the videos these days, it better be a darned important story before I'll bother.

Reading, certainly. A 3 minute soundbite is ok for an illiterate  13 year old. I prefer a little more substance.
