Lucas continues to screw around with original trilogy

This infuriates me...this guy has absolutely no problems alienating all the fans that made his movies a success. What a douche.

I wouldn't have a problem with these as much if he included the originals along side his "Special Editions". It just feels insulting to leave out the original version of the films. I hate to say this, but I think the only chance we could have of the original releases's is if George Lucas dies.

I remember reading an interview once, quite some time back, where Lucas said one thing he wanted to do was digitally alter the characters hairstyles so they didn't look so dated anymore. 

Thank god he's never tried to actually do that.  Yet.
