Though my comic reading days are long gone and over, I recently came across this bizarre concoction: Superman Vs. Muhammad Ali  Buggedout
Published in 1978 it tells the story of aliens trying to destroy earth unless they can find a person willing to fight one of their aliens in a boxing match. Ali volunteers, but so does Superman. In order to pick one challenger they must first fight each other on another planet. Superman is stripped of all his super-powers thanks to a red sun, and Ali teaches the man of steel the sweet science of boxing for their big event.

Kind of corny and certainly a product of its time when Ali was a big deal. Still, I thought it was entertaining and gave me a nice flashback from when I was reading comics as a kid.

Do you know of any other weird "Vs." comics?

I've read a few of these...

Lobo VS The Mask

It was actually pretty entertaining, and makes some sense as they're both unkillable.

I also read Mars Attacks the Image Universe - worth a read as well.

Don Rickles vs. Goody Don Rickles.
Just the fact it's DON RICKLES is weird in itself.
And all done by Jack Kirby!

Not exactly a "versus" comic, but this is certainly the oddest pairing I've seen in awhile... yes, this actually exists!! The first issue will be out in November!!  TeddyR
