Just saw this at the college. This film is now #1 on my list of the worst and least funny comedy movies ever made. It's just some dumb so-called "quirky" frat-boy film. Maybe if I hit myself over the head with a hammer fifty times, I may find it a wee-bit funny before I die of brain damage. It's brainless, not funny, and is a perfect example of the degradation society goes through and how our sense of what's funny has shriveled up into a vile, pathetic little husk of boobs, beer, and penises.

Boobs, beer and penises? So, basically, something for everybody.

Surely it can't be much worse than College (2008). Saw it not long ago and was infuriated by it's repulsive, inept attempt at being a cross between Road Trip and American Pie.  Hatred

Luckily, that garbage film didn't ruin my day. I spent the rest of the night watching one rather well known comedy I've never seen.

Saw it a while ago. By no means the worst comedy film ever, but it is so dumb, cheap and predictable that you feel embarrassed for the entire project and everyone involved. Comedy films these days mostly seem to follow the formula of "an underdog story" with plenty of toilet humour and pathetic cameos. There's no real wit or warmth anymore. I admit, I did laugh at one or two parts of Dodgeball, but I couldn't give two shakes of a broken raccoon's neck if I never watched it again.

I love this film.  It's in my top 5 favorite comedies.  It is so over the top, ludicrous, silly, the right amount of stupid, and the overall hamminess of everyone makes it a perfect blend of fun and humor for me.

This film is now #1 on my list of the worst and least funny comedy movies ever made.

Oh?  Worst comedy?  No my silly blind friend.  Let me show you the truth.  Let me show you true dark, horror that tries to pass itself off as comedy.  Behold your doom!!!!

Well, Info, while I agree wholeheartedly with your examples, in all fairness to AJ, he did say it was on "his" list of #1 worst comedy.

Of course.  I just like to inform others that there are far worse things out there, however, I understand that this movie certianly can leave a bad impression on people and understand his problems with it.

I've never seen the absolutely terrible films like "Disaster Movie". I avoid all comedies like that. Watching Dodgeball is a mistake I never want to make again.

I've seen Pledge This, Disaster Movie, Daddy Day Camp and am against my better judgement going to see Bucky Larson

as for Dodgeball, while it's not one of my favorites I like it

I thought Dodgeball was silly fun, so I enjoyed it.  Pretty stock standard Ben Stiller comedy fare [like Zoolander] and seemed to be part of a slew of obscure sports themed comedies Ben Stiller/Will Ferrell were releasing at the time, like Semi-Pro and Blades of Glory.

It's an enjoyable stupid movie, but not something I'd call brilliant.   TeddyR

Dodgeball has some great moments.  Gary Cole and Justin Bateman as the announcers are great.  The nerdy kid being completely oblivious to Steve the Pirate, then sees him out of Pirate uniform and excitedly stating: "Hey guys, it's Steve the Pirate!" had me rolling.

I quite like it.
