Silent Hill: Book of Memories is coming... be afraid (for all the wrong reasons)

No, not another movie based on a game (Though one is coming and I'll check that out), this is the 9th installment in the series, Silent Hill: Book of Memories.  The series has been going through much changes in the past few games: A focus more on action; a more psychological game with no combat; and with the upcoming Downpour this month, a more look a sandbox sort of deal.

With these changes, there were compliants with each one about the changes, but in the end, they could be said that they were Silent Hill games.  This Book of Memories, however, is not Silent Hill.  This is not the series I know (I only played 2 games mind you, but still).  I'm fine with new changes to old games to see if you can make it better, but this.  This just doesn't feel right.  Have a gander and feel free to comment:

I'm looking forward to the Silent Hill 2 & 3 HD collection that's coming out later this year.

I'm completely uninterested in anything that's "focusing on cooperative multiplayer action".  I don't pay money to tolerate a bunch of rotten little turds that can't enjoy a game unless they're ruining it for everyone else.

They shouldn't have even called that a Silent Hill game.  You know Resident Evil Outbreak also was a coop multiplayer game, and that lost a lot too, but it at least still played SOMETHING like the old games.  They should have just made this a new series.

I just watched the video, I guess they are being developed simultenaously.
However, Book of Memories is still f**king bulls**t. Co-op? In Silent Hill? Action focused?
These people have no idea what Silent Hill is about.
