Just wondering what other people have discovered as far as horror movies being aired on TV during Halloween season.  I haven't seen much other than the usual AMC/TCM stuff they put together. Also, do you plan to partake or watch something from you DVD collection?

Love this time of year for horror movies.

Thanks!  Cheers

Not too much TV viewing this year - I've still got about three Halloween's worth of stuff I recorded off AMC and TCM but never got around to watching.

I'm digging out all those classic and/or beloved horror movies from my DVD collection this year.  Kind of been on a Hammer Horror kick so far, but there are some other favorites like Halloween 3 & 4, Friday the 13th 2, 3, and 5, Jason X, Bride of Chucky, etc. etc. etc. that I'll try to find time for.  And once Halloween is very near (sucks that it's on a Monday this year) we always have some adult refreshments and watch Slumber Party Massacre and, once we're feeling no pain, put on Sorority House Massacre 2:  Nighty Nightmare   TeddyR

I've seen some stuff on tv. The usual fare that pops up about now: Jason X, Child's Play series, Psycho, etc.

Different this year, cause I have Xfinity On Demand, and they have a 'Free Movies' section. They have some big movies (The Thing, Halloween) and Troma flicks, plus b-movies like Pinocchio's Revenge and Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

If you're lucky enough to get THIS TV on your cable they are supposed to be having an all-day Svengoolie Marathon featuring Universal classics like DRACULA, ABBOTT
AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN, and THE MOLE PEOPLE.

That sounds like a great channel. Too bad we don't get it here (western NY).

I don't think I watch more horror movies around this time of year than I do at other times of the year.  Maybe I watch a few more, but the difference is not significant.  Last weekend I watched my DVD of THE DEAD PIT and I watched THE BLACK SLEEP on Netflix streaming.  I may watch REANIMATOR (for about the 12th time) this weekend and maybe a couple others.  Nothing special.
