If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

This one was, of course, very tongue-in-cheek, but I've always thought Vacation was one of the funniest and over-the-top movie posters ever. The background, the ridiculous Christie Brinkley pose, Chevy Chase built to almost Conan proportions. Classic poster and classic movie.

Can you imagine if that was a gigantic Trevor and those were his gigantic underpants?

Oh, the humanity!

Discuss.

It's one of those movies where the special effects aren't nearly as cool as what the artwork would lead you to believe.  In fact, the effects in this movie are HORRIBLE.

And for sheer awesomeness, It's hard to beat The Towering Inferno.

The artist managed to put just about every cool exterior event into one really impressive painting. Really reminds me how bad today's photoshopped crap is.

I'll go along with you there, Andy. There's something that's been lacking in the digital age, namely compelling artwork.
