We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Arkham Horror is a fantastic game.

There's a new brand of board games called "designer board games" which are incredible. Very complicated and very fun. Arkham Horror, for example, takes about an hour to set up and three or four hours to play. But with the right group of friends, it is superb.

As for Cthulhu Saves the World, I haven't played it, but I did play that studio's other game, Breath of Death VII: The Beginning, which was a hilarious retrospective of old-school RPG's. You can get them both on Steam for three dollars or so, but they're also available on Xbox Live for $1 each.

Both great indie games, and well worth your time.

I have this game and it's really fun.  I've amassed more than 200 board games over the past 3 years and my wife and I play at least one almost every night . . . and usually several on the weekends.  In fact, I received a shipment of 4 new games yesterday.  Board Game Geek is a great resource to read about these games and look at images of the components before buying them.

Yeah we've been playing Arkham Horror for a while too.  It's good to play with maybe one or two expansions, not more.   Complex game to learn to play but very fun.

I still love good old Talisman too.  :)  I play the revised 4th ed (the newest one) but I think it's good.  Don't know what I think of the dragon expo in this version though... makes the game drag, don't think I like it.
