We're all a little bit stupid. Share stories of dumb things you should have thought out more.

When I was returning to my apartment from my local Starbucks I got annoyed with all the damn crosswalks I have to cross and decided to take a shortcut. I ran across the road at top speed after making sure cars weren't coming. Just as I got to the other cross-walk, I tripped. I spilled my drink all over the street and scrapped both my knees and my right hand. The drink was almost empty but there was enough to make a big puddle. Wounded and desperate to get home and treat the wound I continued home holding my wounded right hand in my left.

I'm a genius aren't I?

When I was in my teens, I had a fifteen pound, black domestic shorthair tomcat named Blackie. Well, he came home one afternoon, with blotches of tar on his fur, so I decided to bathe him, to get it out.

Really BAD idea- he wasn't too happy with me, and let me know in no uncertain terms. The clumped up fur dropped out, and grew over faster than my scratches did.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

It's better than leaving the thing covered in tar.
