Some have suggested that by the end of this decade or 2020, there will be only 3 major film studios left in Hollywood.

20th Century Fox
Walt Disney Company

As for the other 3 . . .

Viacom Paramount will cease to exist.
Time Warner will be absorbed into 20th Century Fox
Sony Columbia will cease to exist.


Sony may spin off Columbia
Time may spin off Warner.
Viacom Paramount may split up into its component parts, but . . .?!

They will continue to exist in some form into the next decade.

Next time: something I have wanted to do for a long time. something which I'll call "before they were famous."
