I realized that this might not be shown on American TV again, ever.

The movie starts with a politcal extremist crashing a jet into a building in New York.

The World Trade Center Towers play a prominent role.

It certainly gave me pause.

It's already been shown.  I saw it  a few weeks or months after September 11th

Yeah. I assume the title "...for the first time since November 11 ... " was a misspell

If anything, the movie has probably gained significance.

I remember just after 9/11 movies like Fight Club or Three Kings were supposed to be on, but something else was shown. It's really weird, now that I watch pretty much any film or t.v. show set in New York I notice that the towers are shown. The cinematographers always made sure to catch them in shots of the city.

What probably won't be shown again is the pilot episode for The Lone Gunmen since it concerns a plot to crash an airliner into the WTC.

They were a great identifying feature, and provided a nice focal point for the skyline.

On the 11th of september Con Air was supposed to be on, but it got cancelled out of "sympathy for the US". What I was wondering (and still am) is, would the Americans really have cared if Con Air was shown in the Netherlands?

I know, the Netherlands are ruled by a bunch of retarted buttmonkeys.
