60+F since yesterday. Already spotted people in shorts and t-shirts yesterday. We used to call March the 'icicle month' in our parts, but I haven't seen any in many years.

It was getting up pretty close to 70 F for the last few days, but now it's back to reality - high of 48 for today.  Sometimes we get a foot of snow in March, just about the time I'm getting ready to put the golf clubs back in the car.  Nothing like that predicted yet, but you never know.

Yet another snowstorm. Been the snowiest month this winter this March.

As they say, "In like a lion. Out like a lamb."

While we still have 10 days to go to the end of the month, we are back to normal for March. Unlike the beginning of March, when we had a record snowball. A record in 2 ways. A record, at least, as far as I know for a late snowfall, and a record amount of snow to fall in one snowfall since they start keeping records. Not much one could do, except go to ground and wait for the snow to melt enough, so one could get out and about, which was normally the next day or the day after.

It was close to 70 F here last week.  Today?  3-5 inches of snow expected.  Yup, typical March.

We've been having the "Storm of the Century" for the last three days. The kind of storm that rips out trees and fences  Buggedout

Oh great it snowed again last night lol.  Only an inch or so, but good grief, the golf courses have been open for a couple of weeks already.  Go away winter  Hatred

Supposed to get up to 55 today and then 65 - 70 for the next 4 days.

^^ We had a few flakes on Easter sunday  Smile

Today was the first time this year I left the house without wearing one of my beloved winter wool hats. I guess winter is officially done with here.

I wasn't around yet, but from April 8-10, 1973 there was a snowstorm that dropped 19.2 inches of snow on the ground.

My mom and relatives often spoke of that storm.  I had a teacher who remembered that storm but said within a week the snow was completely gone.

Snow is constantly melting, the temperature is rising, then falling the next day, then rising the next, then falling again.
