For the next two days:

Rain Rain Beautiful Rain - Ladysmith Black Mambazo (Fifa 2010 World Cup) Small | Large

- drop THAT on top of several feet of snow (underlain by solid ice) and then back down into negative double-digits for the next ten.  Lookingup   fwiw: whatever we did to deserve this, I offer my sincere apologies!

Nearly 50 here in Old New Jersey and for the next few days it's going to be somewhat warm. And as usual as befitting this time of year, lots of mud is on the way...

It was raining and then snowing here yesterday.  That really heavy wet snow that turns into slush as it accumulates on the driveway.  I went out with the snowblower last evening and cleaned that up, but now today I've got what looks like a 3' tall pile of frozen slush at the end of the driveway from the snowplow going by.

I am NOT looking forward to trying to dig into that thing.

Yeah I've got your underpants all tangled up in my snowblower.  I think I'll just leave it out by the curb with a sign on it that says "free". BounceGiggle

Mild today, just enough so I could chip away at the Godzilla sized iceberg at the end of my driveway.

Shoveled up another batch today. We're running out of places to put this snow. Haven't seen this much in about a decade I'd guess.  Expecting a little more tomorrow followed by ice pellets and freezing drizzle. Temperature rising slightly above zero...

I guess we're having the 5th coldest winter on record, and the 2nd coldest February (records date back to the 1870's).  I've quite enjoyed it myself TeddyR  What I didn't like was those 2 days it got up to 40 and rained.  I'm still chopping ice off the driveway a week later.

It's 1 F right now, supposed to get up to 7 today.  High of -2 predicted for Thursday.

Shoveled another batch today...the snow is starting to get near level with the back bridge and is closing in on burying the garbage box and oil tank regularly...beginning to wonder where to put it....

We are getting thundersleet here in NE Texas today!!!
Considering our propensity for shutting down the entire state over a single snowflake, I doubt I'll be working tomorrow  . . .

I really hate snow AND I really hate putting down 3 50lbs bags of salt when I'm done.
