Torrential downpour one day, prohibitive heat the next, causing my lawn to get way ahead of me real fast...

Nice and hot here in Iowa today, got up into the low 90s.  It's been fairly mild so far this summer, last couple weeks it was more like September than early July.  I was outside this afternoon and it reminded me of Rome when I went there in August 2010.

I finally got the window unit out of the basement and put it in my room today.  We have central air, however there was some design flaws in the system that means my room doesn't get cooled as well as the rest of the house so we need an extra kick from a window unit.  Probably should have had a professional come in and design the system instead of relying on dad to DIY it, which he did when we started remodeling the upstairs in 2012.

I was freezing in the Eastern Cape last week: weather is mild here right now.

We're expecting snow later in the week.  Buggedout Buggedout

It's been + / - 90 F for a week. Weather is always teasing with a rain / thunderstorm, like it would get dark in the afternoon real fast and there are storm winds, and then nothing   Lookingup

Cold. The last several days have been 10 degrees Celsius or less...I don't mind it though.

Close to 90 F and oppressively humid.  Just stand outside for 10 minutes and the sweat is already soaking through your shirt.

It's been plus / minus 70 F since last Saturday. According to forecast no changes till the weekend. We've also had and still have on and off violent wind storms.

Texas is having a hot flash.

But . . .?! Wait till this fall, when we are suppose to have an abnormal amount of rainfall, due to El Nino.

Good amusement park weather. Low humidity, low-eighties, breezy, almost like early autumn.
