The average for October in my neck of the woods is 55F. It's been about 68F the last couple of weeks, which is unusual warm. However, forecast is predicting temps below 55F for the weekend so this will certainly enhance my Halloween mood.

Cosy and warm here at the moment, but temperatures are dropping low at night. Hoping it stays this way for the upcoming weekend (which for me starts in 3 hours and 19 minutes).

Wet. It has rained almost every day for the past several days. Good news: the rain has brought cooler temperatures. Bad news: unless I want to double my electricity bill for the month, I have to find a portable heater to heat, where I live. Using central heating, doubles my electricity bill from what it is normally.

It's starting to get cold up in Minnesota. It snowed a couple days ago but it's already all melted.
It'll be back and the snow will stay for awhile. But thanks to the climate over here winter takes a long time to end.

Rain and temp variation.  Went from fairly hot to pretty cold, averaging out a bit lower than usual.  Pretty wet fall for here seems to be coming in now.

We're currently stuck with 50 F. While still on the colder side it's also not too far off from 60 F, which is warm.

I was hoping for more snow because February we usually get the seasons most snow but nothing so far. I'm a winter person so this near mild weather s**t is really frustrating.

It's been raining here since 4 am: it's now 11:30 am so I guess we're going to have a wet day.

I refuse to open the curtains and see outside.

When I do that, I scare the hell out of my neighbours as I'm normally standing there naked.  Buggedout Wink

Trevor, can you do me a favor? When you come out here, would you do the same thing here that you do in South Africa? I have a surplus supply of Venetian blinds and blackout curtains I need to sell.
